What a pleasure to release this album. These songs were all recorded before Heaven & Earth was founded. I think that these represent the pure essence of our music. When I listen to these songs it takes me back to the youthful enthusiasm and world view we had back then - especially the title track. These were very much "home spun" recordings, which allowed us to record whatever we wanted, but with the trade-off of some uneven sound quality. It reminds me a bit of Joni Mitchell's early music in her "The Early Years" collection.
